Bandol Summer School on Liquid Crystals
Please book your travels such that you arrive in Bandol at the latest by 18 (6pm) on Sunday 24th of September 2024, and depart from Bandol on Sunday 1st of October.
Bandol is easily reached via the International Airports Marseille-Provence or Nice. In both cases airport buses operate between the International Airports and the Central Railway Stations.
From Marseille Central Station (Marseille - St. Charles) Bandol is reached in about 40 minutes by direct local trains. From Nice Central Station (Nice Ville) Bandol is reached in about two hours by regular and local trains (i.e., regular train from Nice to Toulon and then local train from Toulon to Bandol). After arrival in Bandol, the Golf Hotel and the LC Lab are reached by taxi or a 15 minutes walk from Bandol Railway Station.
The veranda on the beach at Golf Hotel where lunch will be served to participants and lecturers.
