We are delighted to invite you the 52nd German Liquid Crystal Conference, a conference on the physics, chemistry, applications, or any other aspects of liquid crystals, to be held 8-10 April 2026 on Campus Belval at the University of Luxembourg! While this conference is organized under the auspices of the German Liquid Crystal Society, in reflecting the international character of Luxembourg, we welcome contributions from all countries, and in particular those in Europe. The conference language will be English.
During the conference, we will be organizing a session dedicated to the possibility of better coordinating European liquid crystal research. The German Liquid Crystal Society has offered to become open to all European liquid crystal researchers, removing its connection to a single country in the process. This could become the seed for a proper European Liquid Crystal Society (which does not currently exist) if such a development would be seen as beneficial. We look forward to a lively discussion and invite you all to participate!
