This is where we look at stuff that is so close it is (almost) invisible, using our (and the rest of the RU's) SEM. In addition, we have dielectric spectroscopy here, as well as the sputterer to coat samples for SEM investigation.
Safety First
You must wear protective goggles during sample preparation in the Invisilab.
Food and drinks are nice, as long as they are kept outside the labs!

You cannot enter the Mazinga Lab if you are wearing inappropriate cloathing, like shorts, skirts and/or sandals.
Avoid contact lenses or make sure you have safety goggles specially adapted for contact lens use (side coverage and no ventilation). Please read the NIOSH recommendation.
When UV-light is in use in the lab, you must wear UV protection goggles, even if you are not the one working with the UV source.
